• First of all stand in front of a mirror. So that your breasts are easily visible in it and you can see your breast from all sides.
• Have a careful look for any changes. These changes includes puckering, changes in size or shape, dimpling, or changes in your skin texture, change in color, change in color of nipple or change in the size of nipple, the shape of breast is not identical etc.
• Then gently squeeze each nipple and look for discharge.
• You can repeat these steps with your hands on your hips, over your head, and at your side for 3 to 5 times and examine if any disorder or change noticed.
• There is an important step, by raising your right arm and examine your every part of your left breast. Move in increasingly smaller circles, from the outside in, using the pads of your index and middle fingers.
• Then in the same condition gently press and feel for lumps or thickenings of breast and feel if there is any change from past.
• Apply body cream on breast and its surrounding and on continue to circles and area outside your breast and under your arm , now feel for any pain in the breast.
• Repeat these three steps with your left arm and right breast.
